MILFORD ICE ANNOUNCES TWO NEW YOUTH HOCKEY PROGRAMS

Milford Ice Arena is excited to announce that coming this spring; it will offer two youth hockey programs at the Tier I/AAA level under the Wolf Pack South name and at the Tier II/AA level under the Connecticut Clippers banner. Tryouts for both organizations will be held in March and April for official play beginning fall of 2024.

Wolf Pack South will field teams at the Squirt Major, PeeWee Minor, PeeWee Major and Bantam Minor levels. These teams are a member of the Tier 1 Hockey Federation (THF) and USA Hockey. The THF is a USA Hockey sanctioned Tier-1 Youth Hockey League that offers a highly competitive environment for Tier 1 and elite hockey clubs nationwide. The THF is managed by a team of dedicated professionals with over 290 AAA teams, ranging from 9U-18Uage levels.

The Connecticut Clippers will field teams from Mite through Midgets levels. These teams except Mites, will participate in the Atlantic Hockey Federation (AHF), a USA Hockey sanctioned elite Tier-II youth hockey league that facilitates games throughout the northeast. The Clippers are also a proud member of the Connecticut Hockey Conference (CHC).

Both programs will focus on player development and the importance of sportsmanship and teamwork, strong competition and giving each player the tools to become the best player, teammate and individual they can be all while having fun and enjoying the game of hockey. We were able to assemble a very robust management team and coaching staff for both organizations that brings a wealth of knowledge, years of hockey experience and passion for the game of hockey. We are also pleased to announce that we have partnered with DC Skills and Pro Crease Goaltending to provide all skill sessions for both clubs.
